Arzé

A struggling mother steals her sister’s bracelet to buy a scooter for her son so he could deliver her delicious pies, her only source of income. But when it’s stolen, she takes matters into her own hands and drags her son all over Beirut in search of the scooter. To blend in with each neighborhood, she puts on a whole disguise, changing her accent, donning a hijab or a Christian cross. As tensions rise and family secrets are revealed, finding the scooter is at stake and so is the family’s unity.
