Nian

In the village of Hujiazhuang, Luo Chuan (Jiang Peng) dreams of becoming a great lion dancer, despite lacking skill and being seen as reckless by the village chief, Hu Changli. When the Nian Beast, Xiao Wu, accidentally enters the human world and steals the village's sacred lion head, Luo Chuan is tasked with hunting him down. Simultaneously, the rat immortal A Xi (Lu Yan) arrives to capture the Nian and return him to his realm. Joining forces, Luo Chuan and A Xi discover a sinister plot threatening the Nian and work together to protect innocent lives. Their unexpected partnership leads them on a dangerous adventure to uncover and stop a villainous demon's scheme. This is a 2020 South Korean comedy fantasy adventure film directed by Liu Hongzhi.
