Palm Oil in the land of Orangutans
The palm oil industry has long been criticized for deforestation and threatening wildlife. However, in Borneo, a partly Danish-owned palm oil plantation is trying to do things differently. The film poses the question that maybe industrial agriculture is actually able to coexist productively and peacefully with nature while meeting the modern world's growing demand for raw materials?
