Stolen Identity 2

Several months ago, a series of gruesome murders of young women in rural areas shocked the police, who believed they had caught the killer. However, new killings emerge, leaving officers uncertain if it's the same serial killer or a copycat. Detective Manabu Kagaya (Yudai Chiba) investigates by visiting the imprisoned killer Yoshiharu Urano (Ryo Narita), who reveals a mysterious figure called M taught him his criminal methods. Urano suggests he is the only way to reach M, challenging Kagaya's investigative skills and trust. As more bodies potentially await, Kagaya must decide whether to believe the deranged convict to stop further murders. This is a sequel to the 2018 film "Stolen Identity," a 2020 Japanese movie directed by Hideo Nakata.
