LAW & ORDER · S10, E14Entitled
In the second part of a crossover episode featuring the casts of "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," the police probe the gunshot murders of two men but their prime suspect - a serial killer who previously eluded Detective Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) years before - confesses to only one of the slayings. The cops re-focus their investigation of the wayward socialite daughter (guest star Noelle Beck) of a wealthy, politically connected - and threatening - grande dame (Emmy and Tony Award winner Jane Alexander), but the missing link to D.A. McCoy's (Sam Waterston) case may lie in finding a mob hitman (Steve Mones) who appears to be linked to both murders. Jesse L. Martin, S. Epatha Merkerson, Angie Harmon, Steven Hill, Mariska Hargitay, Christopher Meloni, Dann Florek and Richard Belzer also star.
-
LAW & ORDER · S9, E13Hunters
When a parolee is found dead in the trunk of a car, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Curtis (Benjamin Bratt) find themselves in a race against time when two bounty hunters seem to be hunting down the same 'suspect' - dead or alive. District Attorneys McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Carmichael (Angie Harmon) prosecute the case but run into problems when details of the deadly shootout make their argument deceptive.
-
LAW & ORDER · S12, E19Slaughter
A young man is found stabbed to death outside a pizza parlor, with no identification. Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) soon learn, however, that he is Andrew Hatcher, an NYU student. Hatcher's grieving parents claim they got a call from him on his cell phone hours after the estimated time of death, but it turns out someone else made the call. Tracing the cell phone, they find a drug dealer named Jimmy Gaines (Gregory Russell Cook), who has Andrew's watch too. But he insists that he found Andrew's possessions in a dumpster. The police then find a blue denim shirt with blood on it nearby, but there is no trace of Jimmy's DNA or prints on it, so he is in the clear. They did find bovine blood on the shirt though, and the M.E reports that Andrew was stabbed with a six inch butcher's knife. They deduce that the killer worked in the nearby meat packing district.
