An undercover sting leads to the takedown of an online pedophile ring and the arrest of two high-profile suspects.

When a transgender teen is taunted by high school kids, bullying escalates to tragedy. 15 year-old Avery Parker (guest star Christopher Dylan) walks home from school through Fort Tryon Park when she's surrounded by a group of rowdy boys. Taunts and jokes intensify to pushing and shoving, leaving Avery in the hospital and three assailants under arrest. When the DA's office decides to try one of the culprits, 15 year-old Darius McCrae (guest star Dante Brown), as an adult, the SVU squad agonizes over whether the punishment fits the crime, and must deal with the pain of both families involved.

Singing coach Jackie Walker (guest starring 2013 Tony Award-winner Billy Porter) is at the height of his career, with a featured role on television's biggest reality show, "American Diva," and a steady position teaching music at a prestigious New York City school. When a four year-old student comes forward with claims of sexual abuse, Detective Rollins (Kelli Giddish) asks the squad to be mindful of Walker's reputation, but Benson's (Mariska Hargitay) investigation uncovers evidence that condemns the popular personality. As the case becomes public, more and more victims come forward, but Walker refuses to come clean.

Best friends Perry Gilbert (guest star Chloe Csengery) and Mia Harris (guest star Mina Sundwall) sneak into the woods with Mia’s young sister Zoe (guest star Oona Laurence) in tow. Their search for the mythical Glasgowman leads to a series of violent events, leaving Zoe gravely injured and the other girls missing. While Detectives Rollins (Kelli Giddish) and Carisi (Peter Scanavino) work to locate the suspect, Sgt. Benson (Mariska Hargitay) digs through the stories to distinguish fantasy from reality.

Tom Moore (guest star John Benjamin Hickey) arrives home from a business trip to find his young son, Nicky (guest star Duncan Nicholson), missing from his bed. With a history of behavioral problems, the cops suspect he wandered off alone, and the search becomes more urgent as the diabetic boy's insulin pump runs out. But the investigation leads to something more dangerous when a criminal couple (guest stars Rosanna Arquette and Mark Boone Junior), known for child endangerment and pornography, is spotted with Nicky. With a child's life on the line, the cops try to turn one suspect against the other before it’s too late. Meanwhile, a personal issue derails Sergeant Benson's (Mariska Hargitay) current course.
