Jon Simmons

Jon Simmons was an actor best known for his portrayal of characters throughout various television series. He began his acting career with roles in the series "Blacke's Magic" (1985-88), "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" (CBS, 1992-98) and "Ellen" (1993-98). He also appeared in the TV movie "Popeye Doyle" (NBC, 1986-87). Several more television roles followed in the nineties, including stints on "7th Heaven" (1995-2007) and "House Rules" (NBC, 1997-98). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the Arnold Schwarzenegger box office smash action film "Batman & Robin" (1997) and the dramatic adaptation "Buddy" (1997) with Rene Russo. More recently, he tackled roles on "The Tony Danza Show" (1997-98), "Providence" (NBC, 1998-2003) and "Sports Night" (ABC, 1998-2000). Most recently, Simmons acted on "Alias" (ABC, 2001-06).
