Division continues to recruit and train other young people, among them Jaden and Thom, erasing all evidence of their former lives and turning them into cold and efficient killers. One of these new recruits, Alex is a beautiful girl with a violent past and a story not so different from Nikita's. The recruits all spend part of their training with Amanda, a master manipulator who can turn any ugly duckling into a swan and any bleeding heart into a killer.

A bee sting during a family picnic ends a life. Nate tends to Maya while Lisa visits her sister in Santa Cruz. Meanwhile, Vanessa seems back to her old self, to Rico's relief; Russell's decision to share a secret with Claire backfires; Arthur wonders whether he should be mixing laundry with Ruth; and David gets a look at another dysfunctional family.

In the Season Three finale, Death continues to shuffle its deck randomly for would-be clients of Fisher & Diaz. Meanwhile, Nate looks to quell his inner demons through extreme remedies offered at a local bar--giving Claire way more baby-sitting action than she bargained for. Also, Ruth shakes up the family with some unexpected news.

Now that Nathan’s (Adrian Pasdar) ability has been revealed and he has lost control of his operation, he and Claire (Hayden Panettiere) go into hiding in Mexico. With Emile Danko (guest star Zeljko Ivanek) now in control of the government operation, his plan to destroy everyone with abilities is set into motion as he teams up with an unlikely partner. Meanwhile, Angela (Cristine Rose) and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) seek refuge in a church and begin to mend their broken relationship. Kevin Alejandro also guest stars. Jack Coleman also stars.

Esteban and Nancy's spontaneous date ends in near violence. Andy and Doug successfully smuggle their first customer across the border. Silas reveals to Lisa that he grows pot, and she offers to let him do business in the back of her store. Celia develops an addiction, while Shane makes a strong first impression during his first day at a new school.
